Sleeping on your side has a little-discussed problem: you don't know where to put your arm. It ends up under the pillow, under your head, or hanging, and by morning it's numb.
The butterfly shape solves that. It has the central cavity for the head like a normal cervical pillow, but adds two lower side extensions where you can rest your arm or shoulder without it being compressed.

Who it's for
Mainly for side sleepers who experience numb arms, or for those who alternate between sleeping on their side and back and can't find a pillow that works for both positions. If you sleep exclusively on your stomach, this shape will probably be too high for you.
The first few days
Memory foam is firmer than a fiber pillow, and it takes the body three to seven nights to adapt. It may also have a slight new foam smell when opened, which dissipates within 24-48 hours with ventilation.
Care
Do not immerse or machine wash the foam core. Spot clean with a damp cloth and neutral soap and air dry, away from direct sunlight. The cover should be washed according to its label. A pillow protector will keep it in much better condition.
